Clearpay briefly explained

Clearpay is a payment service that can give customers a fixed amount of credit to make purchases immediately “Buy Now Pay Later” and then you pay for the goods in 4 instalments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest (late fees apply).

Where can I use Clearpay

Clearpay is available to use as a payment option on Express Trainers website at check out. Please select the Clearpay payment method if you wish to delay your payments. You will be directed to the Clearpay website to register and provide payment details if Clearpay is your choice of payment
If you have used Clearpay before you will be required to log in to your Clearpay account and go through the normal process to make your purchase.

Clearpay Usage

Clearpay is only available if you reside in the UK on a permanent basis and are aged 18+ (excludes Channel Islands)
You must have a UK billing address
Other eligibility criteria may be applied and could be required. See the full Clearpay Terms of Service on their official website for further information.

Making payments to Clearpay

Clearpay will divide the total value of your order into 4 instalments payable every 2 weeks. The exact amounts and dates will be displayed for you to agree to before you confirm your purchase. Make sure you are aware of what you are committing to before you make your purchase.
You can make payments / additional payments early if you wish by logging into your account, Clearpay will then make the appropriate adjustments to what you owe.
You can view your payment schedule and what you owe and when it is due at any time by logging into your account

If you cant pay what happens

If you cannot make a payment, please contact Clearpay here
As soon as you miss a payment, Clearpay will immediately stop you from making any further purchases with Clearpay.
Clearpay will give you until 11pm on the following day to make your repayment and then you will incur a late fee if you are still not able to make the payment by then. This will be an initial £6 and a further fee of £6 if the missed payment is not made within 7 days. If your order is less than £36, the total late fee will be £6. If your order is £36 or over, total late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order or £36, whichever is less
Clearpay debt may be passed to a debt collection agency, and this may affect your ability to use Clearpay in future and could affect your credit rating

Clearpay & my delivery

All Clearpay orders are handled and despatched in the same manner as all other orders, presuming you have passed the appropriate credit checks by Clearpay
Clearpay deliveries are made within our standard delivery time frames like all orders accepted by Express Trainers

How much can I spend on a single Clearpay purchase

Your minimum order value including shipping must be between £10 & £1200 to use Clearpay. The maximum order value could be affected by several issues depending on Clearpays decision to offer credit. This may include being a new customer to Clearpay or your payment record with Clearpay

Can I use voucher / promotional codes with Clearpay

Yes, all voucher / promotional codes are eligible to be used on our website when selecting Clearpay as your payment option.

Returning items purchased on Clearpay

All Clearpay purchases follow our standard terms & conditions for returns
Please note, refunds for Clearpay purchases will be refunded from Express Trainers to Clearpay and in turn Clearpay will refund your account accordingly
Unfortunately, we do not provide exchanges due to the high volume of orders and return activity
When the refund is processed, any upcoming payments you have to Clearpay will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with. Please note that until Express Trainers has confirmed receipt of any returned goods (this could take between 3 and 5 working days), you will be liable to continue to make your payments to Clearpay.
